When I press shift+windows key+s, I can only take a screenshot. When I press shift+windows key+r, nothing opens.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Settings app, then go to Apps &gt; Installed Apps.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to find the Snipping Tool app. Select it, then select &#8220;Advanced Options.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Run the Repair option, then Reset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once this is complete, check if the video recording function is working properly. 2<\/p>\n<p>If the video recording option still doesn&#8217;t work, uninstall the Snipping Tool app and restart your computer. Then, download and install the latest version of the Snipping Tool app from the Store.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ssstt.app\/news\/i-cant-record-screen-as-video-using-snipping-tool\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/736x\/21\/23\/ca\/2123ca27af8caec91944524080652361.jpg\" alt=\"I can't record screen as video using snipping tool\" width=\"450\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If the app is not up to date, update it. If you type &#8220;<strong>SCREENSHOT AND DRAFT<\/strong>&#8220;, it will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2: If the problem persists despite the updates, test by resetting the app to its defaults. To do this, go to the Start menu &gt; Settings &gt; Applications &gt; Installed Applications.
